What makes the success guaranteed method unique?

Music teachers control the extent to which students succeed. In any given lesson, a teacher can make any student seem like the most capable, competent learner or the most incompetent failure according to the sequence of tasks that the teacher asks the student to do.
At Strings Success, we strongly believe in the power of developing habit strength in students' positive productive behavior (skills) and thinking. In selecting and ordering the tasks that students perform as part of a learning sequence, we can systematically control the success rate of individual performance and maintain high proportions of successful attempts.
This is not to say that errors will not occur. Errors are an inevitable and potentially productive part of any learning process. At Strings Success, we help students to learn to cope with error emotionally, intelligently, and physically in a positive and healthy way.

Most private lesson teachers' instruction stops once the student leaves their studio. At Strings Success, we know how integral it is to the learning process for each student and guardian to have support for at home practice.
Students will have individually tailored instructional videos to reference throughout the week as well as any additional music, tracks, and documents through the Practice Space app, which is free of cost to the student.

Recitals and studio classes give students motivation and a deadline to meet goals, which is integral for success in any area of life!
Recitals will take place once a semester, and studio classes will take place every other month on zoom. Studio classes give students an opportunity to play for others, and learn from each other. We have found studio classes to be very motivating and an excellent learning opportunity for our students!

We have worked with a wide range of students over the past 15 years, and accept students of all ages as long as they are willing and are ready to establish a practice routine. For many of our younger students, the practice routines start at only 10 minutes per day.
Both young beginners and older adults require special skills and techniques (plus a bit of patience!) from the teacher. We have received trainingin several methods, including Suzuki and Alexander technique, and continue to educate ourselves on the best practices for both young and old.
